Coupling and uncoupling are the most frequent operations on the railyard - and the most interesting to watch. After the train arrives to Big Valley, the locomotive moves from one end of the train to another in preparation for a ride back.
It's quite impressive how gently this huge machine can move during these delicate maneuvers! It takes a lot of skill to operate such a powerful engine - but these guys make it look so easy...
